At Commercial Interiors, growth has never been about just adding dots on a map.

It’s always been about timing, people, and projects.

About showing up with purpose, not just presence. About building long-term relationships rooted in trust, schedule adherence, and craftsmanship. About strengthening local economies with work that’s both thoughtful and impactful.

We’re not expanding for the sake of growth. We’re expanding where it matters. Across counties, communities, and project types — all at once. We’re committed to building spaces that serve, uplift, and create lasting impact throughout South Carolina.

Today, that mission is reaching farther than ever before.

Statewide Reach

From the beginning, when our vice presidents Aaron Guadarrama and Doug Adkins first met, we’ve been all about connecting with our partners, showing up where we’re needed, and being part of projects that truly matter.

From the Lowcountry coastline to the quiet strength of rural towns, our footprint is expanding.

Not just to take on more projects, but to take on more impact.

With our vast experience in both the field and pre-construction, Charleston will always be home, a root-setting place for our team. But our mission has never been confined to city limits.

With every school we frame, every medical facility we finish, and every house of worship we help bring to life, we’ve seen what happens when construction meets intention.

In recent years, our growth into places like Orangeburg, Murrells Inlet, Ravenel, and Kingstree, across Orangeburg, Georgetown, Charleston, and Williamsburg counties, has been a calling to build, serve, and unite the unique and growing communities that make South Carolina so powerful and prosperous.

Why These Towns? Why Now?

Orangeburg

Orangeburg is quickly becoming a development hub along the I-26 corridor, and the demand for quality construction partners is growing just as fast. With over $100 million in recent healthcare investments, Orangeburg has recently received a $1 billion investment from the world’s largest producer of carbon black and one of the flagship businesses of the Aditya Birla Group. 🔗 Source

Richland

Home to Columbia, the state capital, Richland County is seeing sustained growth in healthcare, higher education, and government infrastructure. With major expansions at institutions like Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina, construction needs are scaling rapidly. 🔗 Source

Waterboro

Located in Colleton County, Walterboro is benefiting from statewide rural development incentives and its strategic proximity to key economic corridors like I‑95 and US‑17. A recent $35.5 million investment by Wayne Brothers to establish a new regional operations center is bringing 170 new jobs to the area. Backed by a $750,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant, this project highlights the town’s growing role in Lowcountry construction and industrial development. 🔗 Source

Ravenel

Nestled just beyond Charleston’s industrial edge, Ravenel is gaining attention from developers thanks to its strategic access to US‑17 and growing demand for logistics-friendly construction zones in Charleston County’s rural west. In 2022 planning and freight mobility efforts recognize the city’s strategic positioning as a future logistics‑oriented construction node. 🔗 Source

Murrells Inlet

Positioned within the rapidly expanding Grand Strand metro area, Murrells Inlet is seeing a surge in both residential construction and healthcare development. As the region attracts retirees and year‑round residents alike, Grand Strand Health is committing $15 million to build a freestanding emergency department in Murrells Inlet — a key part of a more than $350 million regional expansion that underscores the area’s broader growth trajectory. 🔗 Source

Kingstree

In recent years, Kingstree has been the focus of several significant public investments aimed at improving healthcare access, senior services, and regional infrastructure. Projects include the construction of a new Williamsburg County Hospital to serve the broader area, as well as the $2.8 million Murdaugh Center — a planned senior facility located in the heart of downtown at 110 West Mill Street. These initiatives, backed by state and federal funding, reflect a growing commitment to rural revitalization and community health in Williamsburg County. 🔗 Source

Local Impact, Multiple Jobs Simultaneously

We believe in bringing opportunities wherever we go. More projects mean:

✅ More boots on job sites. More skilled hands. More careers.

✅ Expanded training programs and greater upward mobility for emerging talent in the construction field.

✅ Increased visibility into the value of construction for students, neighbors, and leaders in the industry.

✅ Stronger synergy on job sites and deeper collaboration across trades.

✅ More spaces that bring people together for connection, belonging, care, and opportunities to give back to the communities we serve.

✅ More meaning in the work.

In every zip code we serve, we and our partners are doing more than constructing buildings, we’re investing in people and places of belonging.

Our territory might be expanding, but our values remain the same: show up, start strong, finish stronger.

We’re humbled by the trust of our general contractors, field leaders, and clients in every community we serve, and we can’t wait for what’s next.
